Stacey has been working as a jewellery designer maker for 6 years. Her work is carefully designed and hand crafted from her Edinburgh studio.
This year’s collection is inspired by her recent travels abroad. Stacey's design ideas have been influenced by Islamic Art and pattern, Egyptian architecture, Japanese symbols and African jewellery techniques to name a few.
Colour is the focal point of her jewellery. She loves to create bold block coloured surfaces with matt finishes, complimented with polished edges of gold and silver. She uses materials such as vitreous enamel, oxidised silver and gold leaf to create large, elegant statement pieces.
Through the use of geometric and repetitive patterns, Stacey is able to create jewellery that articulates and moves with the curves and contours of the body.
